my letter to MAC.

i have been a vegetarian for about 19 years. about 2 years ago, i became vegan, cutting all animal products out of not only what i ate, but what i wear, and products i use. it has been a very educational albeit difficult process. this message is a request that you consider changing your formulas to be animal-free and cruelty-free. there is a huge community of intelligent, creative, expressive people i am connected to who would be very influenced by a vegan switch. every day, more and more celebrities are coming forward as spokepeople for this way of life. you would not LOSE any existing clients and you would gain an entirely new portion of the population. i was loyal to MAC until i became vegan. as a designer, a color expert, and someone who uses make-up frequently in costume and celebration, i would love to continue to use MAC. the advertising campaigns for this type of development could be ingenious, and are right ON TARGET with the trends of health, culture and consumerism. MAC, be a part of a conscientious NOW. create a world you feel good about. thanks for listening.
