for some reason i thought hedwig and the angry inch would be more like a john waters film. campy and insincere. but it was entirely different. and it took me until last night to finally see it. the first 3 netflix movies i received were hedwig, velvet goldmine, and underground. i also had no idea about velvet goldmine. so last night i saw one of the best double features ever. two movies about angsty, genious, bisexual, glam rockers. fantastic. [is that totally the wrong use of italics?] will i choose to make a difference?
