so here's my big issue with the the da vinci code. if everything is so factual and historically accurate, why was everybody white? why wasn't that even mentioned? yeah, hoorah for the goddess. believe me, as a semi-redheaded, green-eyed heroine, i can totally dig the significance. but why stop at only the deceit of gender? why not race?
